Retrieving Freedom, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to changing lives through the training and placement of Service Dogs for Veterans with disabilities and children with autism.

Our Service Dogs are more than just pets. They are life-changing partners for Veterans and children with autism. They help them overcome challenges, find joy, and live more independently. But it takes a lot of time, money, and effort to train these amazing dogs. That's why we need your support.
Did you know that it costs over $30,000 to train and place a Service Dog? That is a lot, but we believe that our nation's heroes and these special children deserve the best support possible. This is why we provide them with these life-changing companions at no cost!
Your monthly donations are the foundation of our work to train and place these service dogs. You are an essential partner to keep up the good work and help more veterans and children. Your regular monthly gift not only impacts the final recipient, but numerous lives before its final training with its person or family.
Every month your generous support touches the hearts of over 100 individuals who take part in the Service Dogs' first 18 months of training. You impact the lives of college students, prison inmates, summer campers, and elementary students as they work closely to help us train these wonderful Service Dogs.
From our family-centric facilities in Sedalia, MO, and Waverly, IA, Retrieving Freedom has proudly placed 152 dogs in 20 states. Each placement is a testament to the power of community, love, and dedication.
