Change Lives!

Retrieving Freedom, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to change lives through the training of service dogs for disabled veterans and children with autism. In conjunction with our contributors, Retrieving Freedom's impact shines on at-risk teens, college students, inmates, summer campers, and elementary students that are working with our service dogs in training. Combining that impact, fulfills our ultimate mission of changing the lives of disabled veterans and children with autism who receive our service dogs. Each dog directly impacts over 100 individuals through their first 18 months of training, and then documents 100 hours working with their future recipient before placement around 24 months of age. Operating from our family centric facilities, Retrieving Freedom places dogs nationwide with disabled veterans and children with autism as an accredited member of Assistance Dogs International.

Up to 30 Tier 2, FINAL TRAINING SPONSOR opportunities are available for a sponsor to commit to a SINGLE year contribution of $10,000. This will assist with finishing the training and placing a specific RFI dog into the hands of a veteran or child with autism. Retrieving Freedom will be placing 30 dogs into service each year from the 60 sponsored puppies that enter into the program. This unique level sponsorship will provide the needs to cover the final training from 18-24 months and cover the costs associated with the placement. Full Sponsors will receive notification of the placement and recognition for being the final sponsor directly connected to the dog that an RFI recipient receives. RFI hosts as annual graduation that we encourage you to attend and meet the veteran or child personally. Being part of the process that changes lives is priceless!

Our goal in this month of June is to help a minimum of one VETERAN receive a dog!
